Ok, resolutions for 2006:
(i) Stop gossiping about my friends so much. =P After all, they deserve better =)
(ii) Save money! For 2 reasons, 1) Most of my moeny is spent on food. I NEED TO DIET! 2) I need moeny to feed my Friends addiction and fund VideoEZ
(iii) Diet. Exercise. Take stairs instead of lift. Walk home rather then take 173 (Oh boy...) No recess.
(iv) Cut my nasty habit of reading papers and periodicals from back to front. I have to flip backwards to find the beginning of the story/article, then flip backwards again after I finished reading it to get to the article further in front. Who asked them to have the better topics at the back? >=(
(v) Find a better route home from school. Nuff said.
(vi) Stop gossiping and juging people in general. Of course, a easier solution is to shoot them.
So there, resolutions for 2006. Of course, the point of resolutions is to break them, after you've spent a week killing yourself trying to fulfill them.

Alright, abit sick there, and x'mas is over, but all in the holiday spirit:
2 Cold Street
North Pole, Canada
H0H 0H0
I have been watching you very closely to see if you have been good this year, and since you have, I will be telling my elves to make some goodies for me to leave under your tree at Christmas. I was going to bring you all the gifts from "The Twelve Days of Christmas", but we had a little problem up here. The twelve fiddlers fiddling, have all come down with "VD" from fiddling with the ten ladies dancing. The eleven lords a leaping have knocked up the eight maids a milking, and the nine pipers playing, have been arrested for doing weird things to the seven swans a swimming. The six geese a laying, four calling birds, three french hens, two turtle doves, and a partridge in a pear tree, have me up to my butt in bird crap.
On top of all this, Mrs. Claus is going through menopause, eight of my reindeer are in heat, the elves have joined Gay Liberation, and those dumbass Newfoundlanders have re-scheduled Christmas for the 5th of February.
Sincerely,
Santa
=P I'm quite dead, addicted to teevee. My life now rocks. I love my routine. I've come to the stage of tv addiction where I can just turn on the tv and follow any show that is playing, unless its absolutely untolerable (i.e. chinese 7pm show. YUCKS) Adicted to sitcoms, to be exact. Ch5 likes playing those not so popular American sitcoms at 7pm, 11 am e.t.c. prob just to fill up timeslots. I actually enjoy them. It numbs my brain =D My life now is wake up, watch sitcoms, if not watch everybody loves raymond on dvd. Then do abit of work while watching friends on dvd on my com.
4 episodes of everybody loves raymond will follow after lunch. After which I get some work done...while watching more shows on my com. I can watch more friends again, one whole movie, and 1 or 2 episodes of joey tht i download. Up till Dinner, where ch5 will follow. Do abit of work for an hour, and go back to watching 9.00 show. Then i just watch any show i get interested in on ch5 or central.
which is good, cos for years I've been wanting to watch central at night, but nvr get the energy to. or simply get too hooked onto ch8 =P (btw, today's central show was thisshow tht exploded literally everything they can find. talk about intellectual =D)
eh..something eles i wanted to talk about, but i carn rmb. i'm hungry though. =/

Arghh..packing my room and no one is helping me =(( Its not even MY room perse. There are piles of my parents stuff, wanted or unwanted no one konws. The cupboard I'm packing ain't mine. Majority of it, as a matter of fact, is my sister's. ANd I have more homework then EVER to finish.
Tonights topic will be judgement. After judging someone I realised its not really fair. After all, what would I have done or felt. Hmph. Oh, and most of the time, my judgement failed me. The only reason why I'm bringing this up now is cause people I never thought had it in them to irritate me is irritating me, and its causing me to rethink my judgement on their character >=( Those words just keep ringing over and over again and the more I think of them the more I feel like jumping up and setting the record straight, better yet, shoot them. *big broad smile*
Ii'm just amused at how my impression of someone;s character can change 180 degrees, or change in 2 s, or how gradual yet drastic an impression can change. This sucks. I just want to shoot tht person now >=(

Ohh..more stuff I duug out: Mr Loh's postcard when we left sec4 *sniffles*, The results of the test I conducted on all my sec4 classmates to determine how male/female they were. Rmb the one from the book? Had a whole load of results. Stillrmb Cheryl was the most feminine and Zakiah was the most musculine (but its really no surprise), ronald susilo stuff: page from 8 days mag which ailin and geri conned cheryl into giving up, pictures of him that geri made into a sticker for me =P, which brings me to the time jasmine sioks and i would go to the library and scour the malay and indian papers for susilo and lijiawei photos, and huimin gave me a whole load of chiense papers which she painstakingly searched through for susilo photos for me =).
A whole load of periodic tables which i used to make autographs (ann said it was lame). sec4 class list. argh..collecting maths hw suck.
thts about it so far...

*yawns* packing room now. Found some old stuff. Like this piece of paper that me and ket made everyone sign. After which we wrote a note above it, stating: By Imperial Edict, I will go for class outing no matter whereit is and when it is. I swear this on my life" =P I forgot all these conspiracies with keting. =)
Another note is this ingredient list Chinnie and class comm made for me. Reminds me of first 3 months alot. *smiles* This is really really the season to count your blessings. Reflecting back on the entries last year, I was mainly so scared that I'd lose my sec4 friedns and end up a social outcaste in JC. All I can say is, I'm very very grateful that my list of friends grown rather then shrunk, and above all, my list of very very close friends grown, which is what really matters. So here's to Ann, Huimin, Mei, Cheryl, Geri, Keting, Ofe *raises glass of sparkling water (yeah, I'm scared of alcohol already)* CHEERS to friendship!!! =)) ANd to everyone else whom I love out there, new friends, old friends, Cheers too!

23rd Dec, Thurs
Met Celine to watch Narnia =))
Firstly, if you;re the kind who judges the popularity of the shows by how sold-out they get, you'll watch narnia in an instant. We planned to watch the 3.30 show, but weren;t in time. 4.00 show sold out, 5.45 show had only like, 4 seats left, resorted to watching the 6.15 show. Above that, the 8+, 9+ shows were all either sold out or selling fast.
So we spent time walking around. Shopping with celine is fun =)) I missed being with her in supermarkets and mgs canteens =))
Anyway, NARNIA IS NICE
(befor that, MOVIE PRICES ARE EXORBITANT)
The kids are so cute. Its abit ridiculous lah. 14 year old boy going to war, he looks like his digging his own grave, but still..
"FOR NARNIA!! FOR ASLAN!!:

Whoever said its nice to get drunk, DO NOT BELEIVE THAT PERSON. HE/SHE IS TRYING TO LEAD YOU TO A CHAMBER OF TORTURE!!!
Alright, first things first, Merry X'mas =))
Went to Uncle's house for X'mas party today. (Ham was very very good. I want moreee...) After dinner my mum got herself a glass of passionfruit liquor. She said, "Its very strong", and so I tried some. Its not as strong as the banana liquor in Laos, that one made my throat and gullet and stomach burn intensely. This one just went down mildly. So to be a hero, I just drined her whole cup.
Then my sister laughed at me for being all red. (Everyone thought I'm sunburnt =P "Sunburnt in Laos arh, Sam?") And I'm like, I can drink more if you want! So she nicely fetched me another glass of the liquor, and by then, my heart was racing and my head was pounding. (My dad measured my pulserate. 104 per minute compared to my sis 82 per minute). I drained it all again. This time my stomach felt all queasy, so I just laid down on the sofa.
Then it was time to go. Whew. Don't even try standing up. My head starts pounding, and I feel all giddy. Then my vision goes all blurry and black and white. I was totally leaning on my dad for support. Halfway through I just sat down on the pavement and refused to walk, got my dad damn freaked.
Got into the car and went to the clubhouse. That was fine cos I was lying down. Then when we reached SRC and I had to get up again, my head started pounding all over again. Suddenly I just burst out of the life lobby and vomitted in the carpark.
dad: DON'T DON'T! GO TO THE TOILET! DON;T DO IT HERE!
me: cannot!! cannot wait already!!
Goes to the dustbin and vomits for a 2nd time. Only the vomit doesnt go into the dustbin.
dad; go to the toilet!!
Goes to another pillar and vomits again
Now I feel all nice and normal. (actually I smell like vomit now cos I haven;t bathed) Who said getting drunk is fun? Go and die!
My dad went to report to the reception: Someone vomitted on basement 2 arh, you all better go clean it up...
Anyway we took a train to Orchard from city hall. Its crowded, but the atmosphere was quite warm. There are people lining the sides of the roads waiting to ambush unsuspecting crowds with foam sprays.
Rule number 1, avoid crossing roads. The rage this X'mas is that stupid foam spray that simulates SNOW. Everyone, kids, teens, mothers, aunties, indian construction workers on holiday e.t.c. are caught up in the snow-foam rage. So, once the green man lights up, and people are crossing the roads, some of them from both sides will start giving a cry and running towards each other and spraying foam all over like babarians at war.
Only of course, this is in fun. 2 things I have to say. Firstly, I found it rather heartwarming that the people of all types are taking part in the "snowfight". I.e. 2 groups of strangers walking past each other. All of a sudden one of them will take a snowcan and start spraying at the other group, then they will start chasing each other and spraying each other. I know it sounds scary, but actually its all in good fun, and they know it. So you see indian workers, chinese nationals, local students, kids, all mingling around engaging in snow fights. No hard feelings at all =))
Next, KUDOS TO SG POLICE AND SMRT FORCES. The crowd sucked, espcially after the countdown. People were pushing and you just can't breathe. Not to mention some teens STILL wanted to play foam in the crowd. (can't they get it through their thick heads that if someone falls and a stampede occurs thats the end of us??) In fact it got so rowdy my sis was close to crying.
Yet, People did fall down, but they were helped up. no stampede occured. I realised how sheltered I was, cos I felt no need to protect my handphone and wallet from being mugged. No fighting, riots of any sort. Somehow, this can only happen in Sg. The police were great. In the MRT station, equally crowded, yet the queues at the ticketing machine was reasonable. They quickly set up temperory stalls that sells the most common tickets cos that people didn't have to queue, and some staff went individually around to refund people who bought standerd tickets and save them queing time. I love Sg. =))
To end it all, MERRY X'MAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Seasons Greetings!!
(Say, if I send Mrs Yeo a new year card anyone reckon I can strike off bio on my homework that needs to be done list without actally doing it? =P)

Class chalet today. Went for the afternoon and I'm wondering how did the night go. Attendance is GREAT considering all the other class outings and the state of or class unity.
I hate it when noone notices that I've actually GROWN. Like, HELLO. I'm not still stuck in a 9 year old body with 9 year old habits. I'm not that BOLIAO or IMMATURE. Get a CLUE. Don't think EVERYONE'S like you and have inclinations to behave as you think.
Then again, I'm damn short with everyone lately. DON'T get on my nerves and I'll leave you alone. If not, kindly get lost. This applies to everybody.
And my family probably thinks I like going out everyday. If there's one good thing about going out, its that I don't have to face my sister, but besides that, I HATE IT. I'd rather stay at home all day, complete packing my room, and ease my conscience by starting on my holiday homework, at the same time polishing off the dvds I bought. Half my time spent outside is TRAVELLING. Take today for example.
Walk tht 10 minute walk to take 173
after 10 mins, alight, cross the road, walke nother distance to the market
After another 5mins, its walk all the way to KAP, cross the overhead bridge, walk even MORE distance, and take 171
Alight at robisons, WALK ALL THE WAY TO SUNTEC
Walk thru suntec to find toysrus
Wait for tht new bloody trainee to mess aoround with everything. he took 20 mins to search for the gift coupons, consult other more experienced people e..t.c for the 2 customers in front b4 he can start on my 2 min purchase. like wth.
after this i can;t be botherd already. I searched the nearest exit and took a cab. no way am i going to walk all the way back to mrt. Reached bedok around 1. All these took place within 2 hours.
Another example of a day in my life b4 i left for laos
finish srp report by 11
rush out of the house to renew passport photo at 11
they made me wait 40 mins, reached home at 1.00, had piano lesson at 2.00
had to be in nus by 4.00
had to be at funerla by 6.00
my whole life is one big rush. the truth? I;m so sick of town. I;m sick of walking around upper bukit timah cos the bus routes suck and walking is the most conveneint mode of transport. I;m sick of taking the mrt and transferring from bus to mrt. The only good thing that can come out of it is meeting my friends. without whom i thik i'll go mad.

*growls* bloody fucking kids. usually I won't curse so. But ARGHHHHHHHH./ The thought of them still makes me want to murderr them. Went to watch king kong, and the experience SUCKED. Mind you, its not the show, it was great. King kong was sweet and all, and adrien brody...*swoons*
but ARGHHHHHHHHHH. There were FIVE BLOODY KIDS behind me, TALKING at the top of their voices, DISCUSSING the movie THROUGHOUT the movie.
*panaromic of shanghai appears in one of the advertisments. you know its shanghai ocs of the oriental pearl tower*
Kid1: THAT IS HONG KONG! I KNOW THAT IS HONGKONG!
ITS SHANGHAI LAH!
*panaromic of new york. you know its new york cos of the empire state building and all, and furthermore, who doesnt konw king kong was set in new york?
Same kid: LOOK! THATS LONDON! LOOK AT THE BRIDGES YOU KNOW ITS LONDON ALREADY!
ARGHHH. that was a bespectacled kid that looks about primary 3. beside him is a girl, also bespectacled, and talks alot too, though not as much as him, and not as act smart a him. I HATE ACT SMART PEOPLE. Throughout the bloody movie he was trying to predict the next scene or intepret the bloody movements of the cast
*when kingkong climbs the empire state building*
same boy: arh! LATER THE BUILDING FALL AND BOMM!!!! IT'LL CRASH!
and if thats not bad enough, he keeps repeating the same line to that girl beside him, as if trying to show off his knowledge. EVERYTIME the scene of kingkon on the building appears, he'll repeat: THE UBILDING WILL CRASH AND BOMMM!!
and he uses DAMN TERRIBLE broken english.
or he'll tell the girl: see? king kong is trying to keep her quiet cos his tired
or whatever. SUPER ACT SMART. its not as if his trying to entertain her or what, his just trying to show off
my mum:remember to keep some popcorn to throw at those people behind
she tried staring at them but they didn;t notice, too absorbed in their conversation
den i tried tasking them, but noooo, it was not loud enough above their conversation. I'M SERIOUS!
den i tried staring at the boy behind, he mistook it for me being interested and impressed in what he was saying and actually encouraged him to talk more. Then the 2 adults in charge of them only managed to occassionally shush the 2 children beside them, the others (i.e. the boy behind me) they didn't bother. In fact, they came out of the movie smiling, not at all aware they had unleasheda couple of nuisances into the cinema just now. after the movie i just turned around, gave that boy a murderous look and rolled my eyes. I think he got scared cos he ran off. I wanted to say right in front of those 2 adults (if they were his parents) THOSE CHILDREN BEHIND ME SUCK
if thats not bad enough people sitting beside in further in the row had irritable bowel syndrome of what..kept walking in and out during the show..either to go toilet or find better seats i have no freaking idea.
i think its the kind of lifestyle i;m leading. my temper is so damn short lately, getting irritated at every bloody person. my days now are like, rushing from place to place by all kinds of modes of transport except a car. it doesnt help i live in some ulu unaccessible area. If 173 at least took the normal route and turned left towards KAP like any normal bus would it would be better/ but nooo. it takes this wierd unnatural route, thus anywhere near KAp or shell which i can go when i;m going home i can't go
from home cos the bus takes this bloody unnatural route. So either I walk a unfairly long and tedious distance or i change bus twice and still have to walk a fairly long distance. just to reach upper bukit timah road when i LIVE in upper bukit timah road. its terrible.
it takes one hour to buy lunch, walk to j8, and go to tanah merah from bishan. it also takes an hour to go to KAP and back from my house. like wth.
btw, adrien brody is damn cute!! his not handsome. i mean, when ppl fellfor him i couldnt imagine why, i thought his one of the ugliest actors around. now i know, the way he acts is cute!! and he has this unique look about him =))
tis xmas, plz stay wit me..

Piano Ensemble CIP today. I don't think I need anymore CIP hours, but taking part in such activities are fun =) Bendemeer Student Care centre. Terrible k. The kids are all hyper active. They told Alicia to shutup, told Zhengyi he looks like a girl, kept using their hands to make shadows when we were presenting the powerpoint slide, obstructing the powerpoints, ran around the room and shouted all the time, demanded that we gave them money instead of sweets for prizes. Whew. Ofe msged me: Can't be worst then the Laos kids right? YEAH RIGHT! I know its snobbish to compare everything to Laos e.t.c, but seriously, no. This is not about Laos vs Sg kids. Its that their even worst behaved then the average Singaporean kids. Even my cousins were not that badly behaved and they made me cry when they were at their naughtiest. Actually, I can't even go out to Orchard without feeling disgusted at how spoilt Singaporean kids are. I always hated P5P6 kids roaming Orchard road by themselves as if their so cool. Its very poser and it reeks of indulgent parents. I'm feeling very sick of town anyway. There's nothing to do and no money to shop. Zhunwei asked me what to do on NewYr's eve. I realise I'm at a loss of answers. Sg is soo boring. >=(
Back to CIP. The organisation ain't much better anyway. They told us to feed the kids snacks for lunch, if not they can always go and buy cup noodles from them like "they always do" Like, HELLO! doesn't student care include taking care of their nutrition? Snacks for lunch? Cup noodles so often?
On the brighter side though, I kind of enjoy the company of the piano ensemble ppl =) alicia, zhengyi, e.t.c Zhengyi is so funny =P
Btw, get a load of this:
Chenjie: what is the conductor holding?
Kids: Stick! Magic Wand!
Chen jie: nono! Start with B!
Kids: brain!
chenjie: 5 letters! End with N!
Kids: BRAIN LOR!
Ans: baton
cHENjie: what is the g string in the violin made of.
kids: metal!
ChenjieL yeah, i know metal. what kind of meta?
Kids: steel! aluminium!

Laos was satisfying. I missed Ofe alot. <-- Ofe made me write that. I think it did more for me then I did for it, the people, experiences etc. I want to go back. I actually like living the life of a hermit or a recluse =) I don't have to worry about how much I accomplish in a day and go to bed full of regrets that I wasted alot of time watching tv e.t.c. I like living a fixed routine that is so relaxed and balanced, in a place that is so laidback and beautiful, and not giving a damn about current affairs and whatever is going on behind the mountains. I don't want to come back and face the funny responsibilities: Class stuff, homework e.t.c. I'm suffering from
scholophobia. >=(
I suppose my perception of life changed cos its supposed to =P Ok, it did. When I swivel my chair around and find that rabbit staring at me I find myself wondering what the kids in Vang Vieng are doing now. If there's anything I regret its not bringing anythin from home to give them. They give so unconditionally it makes me ashamed =(( Kinda admire the Mr Songxxx guy. He reminds me of LKY faced with a young nation blah blah blah. We could do with more of these people =))
Ofe's becoming more matured and not irritating anymore. In fact, she's screaming into my ear. ouch *rubs ears* =D Ofe dear, cheer up =) There's always people here for you!!
Some people are not worth the trouble!!

And its the first time in a long while i had a good meal i.e. haegan daez and saka-eh sushi. (Btw, We devised the perfect way to go broke.
(i) Decide on a high end restaurant (i.e. Swensons, or Marche, or in our case, sakae sushi and haegen daez)
(ii) Justify your choice by telling yourself: There may be a good promotion or offer
(iii) In the case of no promotion or offer, loiter outside and let urself be tempted by the menu pictures
(iv) Balk at the price and have a discussion with your friend if you should still eat there
(v) Round your discusion with: Go in and sit first then say
2) Ket: Thnx for your shirts!! Will return asap! And thnx for the prezzie too!! Its veryt cute, i stuck it on my mom's mirror =P and my maid laughed at me
3) Huilun (who is probably not going to see this) :thnx alotalotalot for the skirt. Iwas desperate!!
4) my mum =) who practically packed the entire bag for me
5) Ann. In the case your "see sam off at the airport" plan does not mateirlaise, i'm still grateful for the offer =))
My oringinal "bring 2 bags" plan is rapidly unfolding into a "bring 4bags" plan. Terrible =( It increased 4 fold! And i;m STILL not done packing. Alot of small small stuff. I;m going to miss the tv and internet. Sam;s antisocial =(( I'm going to missall my friends =( Alot.

RULES OF GAME:
1. post 5 weird/random stuffs about yourself
2. at the end of the quiz list the names of 5 people who you want next to do this and leave a comment "you are tagged" in their blog and tell them to read your blog for rules.
1. I can't wait to get started on the new dvd i rented (Jennifer aniston! =)) No, its not a friends dvd)
2. My maid is coming home in 20 mins time. That;s good, cos I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER. I have 4 baskets of dirty laundry and nothing clean to wear. If my maid stays in Indonesia a minute longer I'm going to have to resort to banana leaves
3. I face serious socialising problems. I suck at social gatherings
4. I suck at anything requiring hand-leg coordination.
5. Oscar is downstairs now.
Ok, people I'm tagging: Brad Pitt, George Bush, Osama bin Ladan, Ronald MacDonalds, and the Tooth Fairy. Pity they don't have tag boards, lets just hope they read my blog =( Oh, Mei too. She falls in this category of insane maniacs =) (6 people is allowed right?)
tis xmas, plz stay wit me..
