I feel v v v blessed. Had dinner at Chinagate today with yijie yingyi adolphus xinyi rongsiu yuzhen shuying eugene and had kinda my birthday celebrated for the third time =D V touched, toronto people gave me a 3d cnn tower (1.52 m tall) which I;m supposed to assemble (and I can't wait=P ) And then pat came with a Stucchi's ice cream cake and we all went to Stucchi's to eat. Had a terrible time with plastic spoons until we managed to get a knife. Oh, yijie was damn funny (depends on your point of view) with the fortune cookie thingy hmm.....

First birthday out of home and I'mfeeling blessed. =)

Monday was nice. I was really touched...kevin xiao wei sze yen guo lu rachel came to my room with 2 tubs of ben and jerry's and a big box and we spontaneously sat down and ate ice cream. Then after crapping awhile...i asked xiao wei whose box was it tht she brought in...and she said, its not hers. and kevin said, its not his too. And then I didn't think too much about it, but kevin kept muttering: retarded...retarded...and he slowly opened the box and it was a etirely handmade doll house kind of thing with hello pandas hidden under the bed, in the wardrobe e.t.c. and a SHEEP (that says quack) called Baa. CUTTEEE. And then we went to celebrate lihui;s birthday! Surprised her below her friend;s dorm but we made so much noise outside it didn't turn out to be much f a surprise =P

Thanksgiving was cool!! Went to my neighbour's house on tues night and spent Wed and Thurs morn helping her mum.

The house was sooo big with a fireplace and basement and movie theter in the basement and all....and its REALLY NEAT. Menu was like: turkey...ham...stuffing with corn bread...sweet potato pie...greens (all kinds of veg boiled with salted pork and meat)..mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, candy yam...bread and butter....v v good food. Met her relatives...all veryvery warm people! They'll talk to us and hug us like they've known us for ever and they're all so interested in Singapore. And after the dinner they brought out a cake to celebrate mine and my friend's brithday (her birthday is one day after mine). and she gave me a reindeer tht sings jingle bells wheee.

Then on Fri we didn't do much, watched a movie and on Sat Chenjie came down and my fried's father seemed to really like him and all. They were really nice..allowed him to stay and all..and i'm damn happyyy. Cos chenjie is like the first friend not from umich tht i have met in a LONG LONG LONG LONG TIME and meeting him again brings back happy memories =DDD You'd think being in states, we can meet other people in states easily, but noooOOOOoo. I thinkthe underlying assumption here is that public transport everywhere else in the world is as developed as that in Singapore. Well, sorry to dissappoint, people. Public transport is either inefficient or non-existant. THAT'S WHY WE NEED A CAR DAMN.

Ohoh, sat her dad brought us to cranbrook academy, which is a damn cool place. its a high school and middle school and college combined in one. The college is an academy of art and apparntly its world famous. The middle school and high school are damn elite and prestigiuos academies that cost alot (30 000) per year and has a rate of 33% entering ivy leagues (damn, we should all go there instead of RJC)

Oh, and on my last night here the toilet choked. At 3am in the morning. No kidding, after bathing and flushing a piece of toilet paper down the toilet bowl. I woke up Rongsiu and we stared at dismay at the overflowing toilet and the flooded floor. I dissappeared for awhile and when I went back, mg, to my horror Rongsiu flushed the toilet again and MORE water came out and it was flowing into my friend's room. We quickly tried to stop the water from flooding and in the end we just used the pump and luckily the water went back down OMG. We were so scared. Ohoh, and it snowed on thanksgiving and I felt like it snowed just for me =))

haha, but anyway thts' my thanksgiving.
Met alot of cool people:
Friend's dad: His a lawyer who knows alot and expresses alot of interest in learning more. His really sweet and nice...always praising, easy going, going all the way out to make us feel comfortable and at home. He has a refreshing attitude towards life and learning and was really a joy to talk to

Friend's mum: V nice and easy going, also going all out to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Very warm and cool, and also fasionable..her parents are always praising, like calling everyone, dear, sweetheart e.t.c.

Uncle: Very loud and funny! He lovesss music and was also a joy to talk to...

Taylor's cousins: ONe of them has 4 degrees and can speak fluent Chinese and Jap. The other is a photographer. Both are nigerian.

...omg, she has so many cool relatives I don't know how to describe them. Her sister is really friendly too...and her other aunts...oh mann. And her friends...they're really easy and all...

Weekend's OVER. But weekend was funfunfunfunfun. haha, woke up at 11+ on sat after the 5 am talk with xinyi and guolu on fri. Went to chinagate with mengfei and then to the arcade and SHE ROCKS AT IT. Won like 800++ tickets and now I've got a cute furry monkey. =DDD



After that rongsiu and i headed down to north to study, played around in duderstadt for a few hours and at 12 (or so) keith xinyi yuzhen eugene and us went down the baits field to watch leonids meteor shower.



didn't happen.

too cloudy a day and it was so cold but oh well. it felt kinda good, sat in a circle talking and singing under the sky beside a pond e.t.c.e.t.c. When we finally decided our threshhold for cold is reached we went to jacob's room in batis to talk more and chil lmroe and sing more. Finally, at about 4 am we decided to call it a day. WEnt to keith's room to collect our belongings and went to eugene's room to spend the night. (somehow i have this subconcious habit of moving onto the floor whenever i sleep on a chair...kinda freaky)



Woke at 9 the next day and had to shelve birchrun (factory oulet) plans for a few hours. collected the zipcar and we went back to eastquad to zonk out for a few hours till 12. Finally we drove down to birchrun. Whoo, I drove an hour+ down to birchrun! onthe high way! in a car! Made me feel kinda grown up =D Can;t beleive I'm doing what my parents were always doing when we go on vacations. I drove the 5 of us down to birchrunnn!!



so...buying down jacket(which was kinda the main point of going birchrun in the first place) kinda didn't happen. (i attribute it to the conspiracy theory) Bought some OTHER stuff though. (as usual) Rushed back happily (rongsiu drove this time) to bring shuying toher meeting(which she ended up missing) and den we picked up xiny iand we all happily went to ted's house for dinner where east quaddies + junwen cooked stuff!

hicken rice + stir fried veg + beef steak wheewheewheewheee. Rongsiu went to practice driving den after awhile she said she's done and asked me to go practice driving. Then she asked me to come back cos she wanted to practice. and when i went back and sat around, suddenly lights off and they came out with a cookie cake for ted and me =) and a lot of metal balloons =)) and a happy birthday song =))) sososo sweet!!!! =DDD on the cake was a sheep and a teddy bear (ted's the teddy and i'm the sheep) and they cut out the sheep and the teddy and made us eat the whole thing (and compete to see who eats the fastest. !!!) but tht was fun.

after the whole thing, we deided to go down to meijers

But we follow instinct! eugene say.

so...i driove again..and we made a hell lot of turns breaking almost every traffic rule in the book: turning on straight lanes, uturning everywhere, e.t.c.e.t.c. turning the 15 min drive into slightly less then an hour ordeal (but kinda shuang i must admit) AND WE MAKE IT. And we shopped and rongsiu drove us back (the way a car should be driven) and that was the end of my weekend.

I feel veryveryvery blessed.

Its sat morning again! Fri was as usual, FUNNN. Walked out of the lab at 5 feelng LIBERATED as usual, and made my way to the pool to swim for an hour. Then went to easthall for CelebrAsia, stoned with yuzhen shuying rongsiu. Btw, the food was GOOD. Loved MSA's goreng pisang and CSA's fried rice, cooked the way it should be (and not the dorm's crappy version).

Dropped by the pep rally for awhile b4 my shift (to sell milo at CelebrAsia) cos today's the BIIIGGGGGG Mich vs OSU's game and its one of the biggest rivalry and biggest game EVER. So like the whole weeke the whole school ios hyper up about it and such. (but I;m not so i cheekily planned a tri pto the arcade with my freind during the game)

And then yuzhen and i stopped by at stucchisand den went to complete our shift and THEN I WENT TO ARCADEE WHOOOOOO time crisis 4 timecrisis 3 dayton 2 daytona 1 airhockey pointblank WHEEEEEE.

then we all went to chill out in the lobby of east quad and finally decided to go bubble island and play tht stack the woodblocks game and taboo until 3 *yawns* walked xiny iback and ended up talking in south quad lobby until 4.30 *yawns* and thts my friday. shall blog about sat when it's ovr. V HAPPY

*yawns* very bad, spent the whole day in bad, but in view of the fact midterms is over and I don't have much chnace to do this, i think its pefectly justifiable.

Updates on life: I downloaded supermario after much effort. YAY. Friday was fun (as usual) Went swimming with xiaowei after urop, and then we went for dinner with all singaporean freshmen at saigon garden (love the fried rice and the beef noodles) and then small group of us went to arcade and i played TIMECRISSIS4 wheee. This place which doenst have a supermarket has timecrisis 4 tht is cheaper then Sg =DDDD. And then we went jinghao's room where the ppl uninterested in drinking played cards. And while the rest went clubbing we went to yingyi's dorm (again) to watch show. music andlyrics WHEE. fridays make me happyyyy.

and then sat was fun too! woke up late and missed cip, but chih hung brought us to zingerman and kerry town. VERYVERY nice walk. and food was good (actully i;m reaming of it now).Then I wen back to do some laiundry and went for dinner at night with xiyi and shuuying and yuzhen. noodles and co and den tucchis (i;m rambnling) and den we went up north to study and i finsihed much of 2 pizzas and i;m quite disgusted at my wt gain.

ah thts my life. i know it doesnt sound very intereting on paper but it was avtulaly quite interesting
